There’s Many Benefits of Exercise for Seniors

As we age, we need to stay active. An important piece of this puzzle is to have a regular exercise routine. Many people slow down after retirement and don't stay as active. However, staying active helps create overall health, physically, emotionally and mentally where suddenly one's tiredness fades and energy picks up. Exercise and staying healthy will allow us to maintain on independence.

  1. We provide short-term, focused rehabilitative therapy to heal and restore muscle function and strength.
  2. We offer personally crafted senior exercise programs for longer term residents to make daily living more enjoyable and pain free.

Seniors need to keep a balanced exercise routine that does not put too much stress on the body. Our staff helps seniors build balance into their exercise routine and their life. Exercises might include cardiovascular activity such as senior weight lifting, stretching for seniors and balancing exercises. These programs are geared towards helping our residents stay strong and independent as long as possible.
